Win-Win Partnership Sigma Mixers : Meeting The Needs of Canadian Customers
Publish Time: 2025-10-07 Origin: Site
1. Introduction
A Canadian company, needed to expand its production capacity due to business development and planned to purchase a core piece of equipment for its factory: a Z-type kneading machine. This collaboration began with the customer's equipment requirements and progressed through multiple stages, including negotiation, solution optimization, and production delivery. With our professional technical support and attentive service, we not only successfully met the customer's various customized needs, but also earned their high recognition and laid a solid foundation for future long-term cooperation.
2. Preliminary Inquiry and Purchase Approval
(1) First contact: Inquiry on August 29, 2024
On August 29, 2024, we received a formal inquiry from the customer. Their core requirement was a Z-type kneader suitable for their production scale. Customer has a stable business in the ceramic raw material processing sector in Canada. This Z-type kneader was purchased to meet growing order volumes and improve the efficiency and quality of their ceramic raw material mixing process.
Upon receiving the inquiry, we immediately contacted the customer to confirm their requirements and share customer case studies, equipment photos and videos. The customer was very satisfied with our sharing and detailed their needs. Based on this, we provided a detailed equipment quotation and technical specifications to ensure that the customer clearly understood the equipment's performance and value.After nearly a month of communication and evaluation, on September 23rd, the customer officially notified us of their approval to purchase the Z-type kneader and confirmed the equipment's basic configuration and delivery schedule. During this time, the customer requested door-to-door delivery and unloading arrangements. Although many freight forwarders were unable to accommodate their unloading requirements, we accepted their requests and ultimately helped them find a suitable transport agent. We also continued to share our equipment operation videos and other information to help the customer gain a clearer understanding of the equipment, further alleviating their concerns and successfully receiving their order confirmation email.

This purchase approval not only marks the official launch of the cooperation between the two parties, but also reflects the customer's initial trust in the product quality and professional services of our Z-type kneading machine.
3. Post-purchase communication and new demands
(1) Further consultation in January of the following year
After receiving the experimental Z-type kneader, the customer contacted us in January of the following year, inquiring about pilot-scale equipment and requesting two new customizations.
From an industry perspective, the ceramic raw material mixing process requires high equipment flexibility—it demands both experimental precision and the efficiency of large-scale production. The client's pilot-scale inquiry confirmed the necessity of the initial experimental equipment, while the subsequent customization requirements were driven by the practical challenges of "dusty environments" in actual production, demonstrating a strong practical necessity.
(2) Requirements for spray system and sealing optimization
1. Requirements for adding a spray system
Terrafixing proposed installing a spray system on the kneader lid. The core goal was to moisten the ceramic raw material powder through spraying, reducing dust during mixing and improving the uniformity of the raw materials. To address this need, our technical team quickly began designing a solution:
Determine the installation location of the spray system (avoiding critical lid opening and closing components to ensure it does not affect normal equipment operation);
Select nozzles that are compatible with the characteristics of the ceramic material (anti-clogging, interchangeable, and provide uniform atomization to prevent material agglomeration);
Select an appropriate spray pump (stainless steel booster pump with strong power).
In order to give the customer a more intuitive understanding of the plan, we drew a design drawing before production and marked the key components. The customer recognized the feasibility of the plan.
2. Sealing problems and solutions
Because mixing ceramic raw materials is a very dusty process, the custmer requested a gasket seal. Our technical team measured the gap between the lid and the chamber to determine the appropriate sealing material and provided a targeted solution:
• Use high-temperature and wear-resistant silicone gaskets (adapted to the operating chamber temperature of the kneader to extend service life);
• Add a clamp to secure the top cover (drawing on experience with vacuum mixers, the top cover is equipped with a clamping device to ensure a leak-free seal).
The customer was very satisfied with the solution and immediately requested a pro forma invoice.
4. Design confirmation and technical consultation answers
(1) Provision and confirmation of design drawings
In response to the customer's requirements for spray system and sealing optimization, as well as the pilot-scale adaptation plan confirmed in the early stage, we provided the customer with the overall design drawings of the "Z-type kneader + spray system" before production, covering the overall equipment structure, spray system layout and other contents.
From a collaborative perspective, early confirmation of design drawings is crucial. First, the customer can visually verify that the design meets their needs, avoiding rework due to design deviations after production. Second, we can make timely adjustments based on customer feedback, reducing subsequent modification costs. Upon receiving the drawings, the custome suggested installing two nozzles and making the nozzle interface interchangeable. We quickly updated and confirmed the drawings to ensure the design fully met the customer's needs.
(2) Answers to technical questions one by one
During the design confirmation process, the customer also raised questions about the spray system's "spray pump performance" and other issues. Our technical team provided detailed answers through "one-on-one communication + written instructions":
• About the spray pump: Introduce the stainless steel booster pump used, which is powerful, and share pictures for reference.
All answers to questions are based on the principle of "easy to understand + professional and accurate", avoiding the use of overly complex technical terms to ensure that customers can clearly understand and further enhance their confidence in the equipment.
5. Production, Testing and Delivery
(1) Strict control of the production process
After the design drawings were confirmed, we started the production of the Z-type kneading machine according to the established plan. During the production process, we strictly adhered to the following standards:
·Raw Material Procurement: Core components (such as kneader rotors, spray pumps, and nozzles) are sourced from renowned industry brands to ensure consistent quality.
·Production Process: CNC machining equipment is used to manufacture key components, minimizing manual errors. Quality inspectors conduct inspections at every stage of the process to prevent unqualified components from being passed on to the next stage.
·Customized Component Manufacturing: Customized components such as spray system piping and sealing gaskets are manufactured to the precision requirements of the design drawings.
(2) Testing and Customer Satisfaction Feedback
After production was completed, we conducted a comprehensive performance test on the Z-type kneader.
After the test, we sent pictures of the machine's appearance and a video of the test to the cust. The customer expressed their gratitude for the pictures and video and immediately arranged for the final payment.
(3) Difficulties and solutions in delivery arrangements
During the delivery process, they made a special request: "The equipment must be delivered to the customer's site and unloaded." While this type of industrial equipment is typically delivered at the port or unloaded by the customer, the "delivery to the customer's site plus unloading" requirement is unusual. Furthermore, the equipment was significantly larger than previously available, and there were limited Canadian freight forwarders capable of providing this service (which required large equipment transport vehicles, specialized unloading equipment, and familiarity with the transportation and loading and unloading conditions at the customer's facility). To meet the customer's needs, after extensive consultation, the equipment was successfully delivered to the customer.
6. Looking to the Future: Future Cooperation Plans
From a long-term perspective, they have significant market resources in the Canadian ceramic raw material processing sector. We plan to establish a regular communication mechanism with our customers, sharing new upgraded equipment, intelligent control systems, and other information. We will also proactively provide equipment expansion solutions based on their business expansion needs.
We firmly believe that this collaboration on the Z-type kneading machine is just the beginning of a long-term partnership. We will continue to provide superior products and services to help our customers achieve business growth while expanding our presence in the Canadian market.
7. Conclusion
Looking back on our collaboration with the Canadian company, from initial inquiry to final delivery, from basic equipment procurement to customized solutions, we have always prioritized customer needs. Leveraging our professional technical capabilities, efficient execution, and attentive service, we successfully completed each task and earned their trust
