A customer in the food industry required a reliable and hygienic solution for mixing sugar, sweeteners, and food-grade colorants. Karvil Machinery provided a custom-designed 500L horizontal ribbon blender system with integrated screw conveyor, featuring full SS304 contact surfaces and operator safety protections.

Protective Grid Interlock

• Mixer continues operation when the lid is open only if safety grid is correctly in place.

• If grid is removed or out of position, mixer halts automatically to ensure operator safety.

• The outer spiral belt pushes inward and the inner spiral belt pushes outward so that the materials can be flexibly sheared and dislocated to achieve the purpose of fast and uniform stirring.

• Material outlets are located in the middle of the cylinder bottom. Outside ribbon driven by the main shaft moves materials to discharge to ensure no discharging dead zone.
