Recently, Karvil Machinery successfully completed the manufacturing and testing of a complete 2000L Horizontal Ribbon Blender Production Line. This premium powder mixing system has been meticulously packaged and shipped to our valued client in Chile.
Designed specifically for the food industry, this production line will be used to process food-grade materials including sugar, propionates, and soybean meal. To meet the client's strict requirements for food safety, mixing uniformity, and automation, our engineering team provided a comprehensive turnkey solution—from raw material feeding to final bag packaging.
This customized system is not just a single mixer, but a highly integrated automatic production line. It mainly consists of four parts:
1. 2000L Horizontal Ribbon Blender (The Heart of the System)
High-Efficiency Mixing: With a total volume of 2000L and an effective working volume of 1200L, driven by an 18.5kw main motor.
Premium Global Components: Equipped with Danfoss inverters for precise speed control (0-35 r/min) and durable NSK bearings, ensuring long-term stable operation.
Innovative Chopper Design: Features two 3kw high-speed choppers (0-1430 rpm, also with Danfoss inverters) to break up lumps during the mixing process. Note: We designed it with blind flanges, allowing the client to easily remove the choppers and seal the ports if their future recipe changes.
Food-Grade Standard: All contact parts are made of SS304 stainless steel with internal mirror polishing to prevent material buildup and ensure top hygiene.
Safety First: Equipped with a safety grid (mesh size <5mm). The smart safety protection system ensures that if the grid is out of position and the lid is opened, the mixer will stop immediately.
2. Smart Feeding: Screw Conveyor with Weighing System
To ensure accurate batching, the initial screw conveyor features a 400L hopper equipped with a bottom weighing module. This allows the operator to control the exact amount of sugar or soybean meal entering the mixer.
3. Strict Quality Control: Screw Conveyor with Metal Detector
Food safety is non-negotiable. After mixing, the discharged materials pass through a secondary screw conveyor integrated with a highly sensitive Metal Detector (Processing capacity: 5000kg/h). It can reliably detect and reject foreign contaminants:
Iron (Fe) > 1.5mm
Non-Iron > 1.8mm
Stainless Steel (SUS) > 2.0mm
4. Automatic Quantitative Packaging Machine
The final step is automated packing. Our twin-screw packaging machine handles weights from 5.0kg to 60kg with a high accuracy of ±0.1%. Capable of packing 160-200 bags per hour, it comes with an automatic double-thread sewing machine, greatly saving labor costs.
