3 × 3300L Ribbon Mixers Shipped to a Long-Term Customer in New Zealand

Karvil Machinery has completed the production and shipment of three 3300L industrial ribbon mixers for a long-term customer in New Zealand.
This is a repeat order from the customer, who has chosen Karvil equipment again for a new mineral powder blending application.
The mixers are designed for blending fine mineral salts, copper, zinc, cobalt, sulfates, lime powder, magnesium oxide and other trace mineral powders.
Designed for Fine Mineral Powder Blending
The materials used in this application include a variety of fine mineral ingredients with different characteristics. The customer therefore required a reliable industrial mixer that could provide consistent powder blending and efficient discharge.
Each 3300L ribbon mixer is equipped with a horizontal ribbon mixing system designed to move and blend dry powders throughout the mixing trough.
The ribbon-to-wall clearance is controlled at approximately 5 mm, helping reduce the possibility of contact between the ribbon and the trough wall during operation.
3300L Capacity for Large-Scale Production
Each mixer has a total volume of 3300L, providing a large processing capacity for industrial mineral powder production.
The main drive uses a 22 kW Siemens Beide motor with a K-series gearbox. Mixing speed is controlled by a VFD and can be adjusted from 0 to 27 rpm according to the customer's process requirements.

Bottom Pneumatic Discharge
For this project, the customer selected a DN250 pneumatic slide gate valve installed at the bottom of the mixer.
The bottom discharge configuration allows the blended powder to be discharged from the lowest point of the trough, helping reduce material accumulation after mixing.
The pneumatic valve also makes the discharge operation convenient for integration with the customer's downstream process.
Built for the Customer's Process
The three mixers are equipped with a practical control system for daily operation.
The control panel includes:

Variable mixing speed control
Speed display
Discharge valve control
Circuit breaker protection
Voltage and current display
Emergency stop button
Standard grounding
Electrical circuit diagram
The mixer body is made from SS304, while the external surface is finished in dark blue industrial paint, PANTONE 294C.
Another Repeat Order from New Zealand
One of the most meaningful parts of this project is that the customer is a long-term Karvil customer.
After previous cooperation, the customer returned to Karvil for another batch of industrial ribbon mixers.
Repeat orders are important to us because they show that our equipment has met the customer's expectations in actual production.
For this project, Karvil completed the manufacturing, assembly and factory testing of all three 3300L ribbon mixers before shipment to New Zealand.

After factory inspection and testing, the three ribbon mixers were prepared for shipment to New Zealand.
