Karvil Machinery has recently completed another 1000L stainless steel paddle mixer for a long-term customer in Uzbekistan. The mixer is designed for spice blending and dry powder mixing, with a focus on hygienic construction, uniform mixing and convenient batch discharge.
This is also a repeat order from an existing customer, making the project particularly meaningful for Karvil Machinery. Rather than simply supplying a standard mixer, the equipment was configured according to the customer's existing process and discharge requirements.
Spice powders often contain multiple ingredients that need to be evenly distributed throughout each batch. At the same time, the mixer needs to be easy to clean and maintain when different formulations are processed.
For this application, Karvil supplied a 1000L U-shaped paddle mixer with a 600L effective working volume.
The paddles move the material through the mixing chamber, creating continuous lifting, folding and redistribution of the powder. The adjustable shaft speed allows the mixing intensity to be adapted to different spice formulations and material characteristics.
The typical process can be arranged as:
Raw Spices → Paddle Mixing → Uniform Blending → Pneumatic Discharge → Packaging / Downstream Processing
One of the key requirements for this project was the use of SS304 stainless steel.
The entire mixer is manufactured from SS304, while the internal product-contact surfaces are mirror polished. The external surfaces receive a brushed finish.
The main construction includes:
SS304 mixing chamber
SS304 paddle shaft
SS304 mixing paddles
SS304 end plates
Mirror-polished internal surfaces
The smooth internal finish helps reduce material buildup and makes routine cleaning easier, which is especially useful when processing different spice formulations in batches.
Another important feature of this mixer is the DN250 pneumatic bottom flap discharge.
After the mixing cycle is completed, the bottom flap opens pneumatically to release the finished spice mixture from the bottom of the mixing chamber.
Compared with manual unloading, pneumatic discharge provides more controlled operation and can help reduce operator involvement.
The discharge system can also be connected with downstream conveying, weighing or packaging equipment when required.
The paddle shaft operates at 0–43 rpm and is controlled by an 11 kW Delta frequency inverter.
Variable-speed operation allows the mixing process to be adjusted according to the characteristics of the powder.
The mixer is powered by an 11 kW Siemens motor and a K-series hardened gear reducer.
This drive configuration provides reliable torque transmission for regular industrial batch mixing.
Spice powders can generate dust during loading and mixing. To address this requirement, the mixer is equipped with a dust collection connection on the upper cover.
The cover also includes a pneumatic-assisted opening system and a safety protection grid.
The dust collection connection can be integrated with a suitable dust collection system to help control airborne powder during operation.
Operator safety is considered in the design of the mixer.
A safety protection grid is installed on the upper cover. The safety system is designed so that when the protection grid is not correctly positioned, opening the cover will immediately stop the mixer.
The electrical cabinet includes:
Emergency stop
Circuit breaker protection
Voltage and current display
Grounding connection
Protected wiring terminals
Schneider Electric components
These features provide operators with straightforward control and additional protection during daily production.
This project was not the customer's first machine from Karvil Machinery.
The customer in Uzbekistan has worked with Karvil Machinery previously and returned to us for another mixing project.
For industrial equipment, a repeat order is more than another machine shipment. It reflects the customer's experience with the equipment, communication, manufacturing quality and after-sales support.
For Karvil Machinery, long-term customer relationships are built through reliable equipment and practical engineering solutions.
One project can start a business relationship. Reliable equipment can build a long-term partnership.

Every mixing application has different requirements. Powder density, particle size, moisture, batch size, mixing time and discharge method can all affect the final equipment configuration.
For this Uzbekistan project, the mixer was configured around the customer's spice blending process, with particular attention to stainless steel construction, internal surface finish, dust collection and pneumatic discharge.
Karvil Machinery can also customize paddle mixers according to different production requirements, including:
Working capacity
Paddle configuration
Motor power
Variable-speed control
Discharge system
Dust collection
Heating or cooling
Electrical control
Material and surface finish
Before shipment, the completed paddle mixer was tested at the Karvil Machinery factory.
The testing process included checking the paddle shaft rotation, variable-speed operation, discharge mechanism, cover operation and overall running performance.
Factory testing helps ensure that the main functions of the machine are verified before delivery to the customer's facility.
For overseas customers, this provides an additional quality-control step before installation and commissioning.
If you are looking for an industrial paddle mixer for spices, dry powders or other bulk materials, the right machine should be selected according to your actual material and production process.
