This week at Karvil Machinery, we successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for a customized 100L Sigma Kneader Mixer. This unit is now packed and scheduled for shipment to our client in Turkey, a specialized manufacturer of resin and fiber composites.
Meeting the "Safety First" Requirement
Handling high-viscosity unsaturated polyester resin involves two major challenges: heavy resistance and flammability. Our Turkish client required a solution that could handle the torque without compromising safety.

To meet these strict demands, this NH-100 model was engineered with specific safety features:
Non-Sparking Zone: We applied a specialized copper coating to the Sigma blades. This ensures that even under intense friction, no sparks are generated inside the mixing bowl—a critical requirement for their chemical safety standards.
Full Ex-Proof System: From the Siemens motor to the Schneider control cabinet, the entire electrical system is explosion-proof.
Why Mechanical Tilting?
Unlike standard hydraulic systems, this machine features a Mechanical Screw Tilting system. During the test run, the client verified that the bowl tilts steadily to 110°, allowing the sticky fiber material to discharge completely via gravity. The mechanical design was chosen for its durability and "zero oil leak" maintenance advantage.

Ready for the Journey
Before packaging, the machine underwent a final 4-hour running test to ensure the temperature rise and noise levels were within the approved limits.
The mixer has now been wrapped in protective film and secured inside a standard export fumigation-free wooden crate. We have reinforced the internal base to ensure it withstands the long sea freight to Istanbul without movement.
We thank our Turkish partner for their trust. It is always satisfying to see a machine transition from a design drawing to a finished product ready for production.
