Hydraulic Tilting Discharge
Stainless Steel Contact Parts
Sigma Blades Mixing
Reliable Drive System
The entire mixing chamber can be hydraulically tilted for discharge. This design is particularly useful for cohesive and high-viscosity materials that may not flow easily through a conventional bottom outlet.
The hydraulic system is powered by a 2.2 kW Siemens Innomotics motor, providing reliable tilting and resetting operation.
All parts in direct contact with the material are manufactured from SS304 stainless steel, including:
Mixing chamber
Sigma blades
Upper cover
The internal surfaces are mirror polished to provide a smoother working surface and facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
The mixer uses Sigma-type kneading blades designed to generate strong shear, folding, stretching, and kneading action.
The two blades can rotate in both forward and reverse directions, while the speed can be adjusted through the frequency inverter.
This configuration allows the mixing intensity to be adjusted according to different material characteristics and process requirements.
The main mixing system is driven by a 30 kW, 4-pole Siemens Innomotics motor combined with a hardened gear reducer.
The drive system is designed to provide the high torque required for demanding kneading applications involving cohesive and mineral-based materials.

How can I select the right Sigma kneader?
The most important factors include material type, viscosity, moisture content, bulk density, required batch size, mixing time, temperature requirements, discharge method, and downstream processing. Send us your material information and required capacity, and our engineers can recommend a suitable configuration.
Why is hydraulic tilting discharge used?
Hydraulic tilting allows the entire mixing chamber to be tilted, making it easier to remove cohesive or sticky materials that may be difficult to discharge through a conventional outlet.
Can the blade speed be adjusted?
Yes. The Sigma blades are controlled by a frequency inverter. The specified speeds are 0–37 rpm for the fast blade and 0–26 rpm for the slow blade.
Can the mixer handle materials other than clay and zeolite?
Yes. Karvil Sigma kneaders can be engineered for many cohesive, viscous, paste-like, and solid-liquid mixing applications. The final configuration should be selected according to the actual material properties and process requirements.
Can Karvil customize the mixer?
Yes. Motor power, blade configuration, working volume, heating/cooling, vacuum, discharge system, material of construction, electrical components, and other options can be customized according to the customer's process.
